All the other women are gone, except for TLS and Makulita. And no new women ever sign up anymore. I wonder why.
LOL.

I'm detecting some ... um... sarcasm in this question. But I'll answer it anyway.
There are probably 3 causes: -The content of the site is not interesting to women. -The website culture/environment is not amenable to women. -Lack of effective outreach and marketing the site to women. I was actually talking to Jaehwan about this website a week or so ago. I thought that Fighting44s has relatively more to offer compared to many other Asian American forums and websites, which are fairly tame. And more could be done to expand the website's reach, audience, and impact on the Asian online community in general. |

Why has that troll "Dirty Gook" not been banned yet? There have been other posters banned for much less, but this punk continues to spew his noise. Ban his/her/its ass.

LOLOLLOL SLOWPOKE.
--- The fact you had the wherewithal to mention the "right way" just gives more credence to the fact we don't take stupid bullshit. There's debating from your side, and then there's campaigning from your side. Guess which one doesn't fly well here. Ding ding ding! Case in point, the PUAtard/Winno debacle. Neither of those silly bastards were debating from their side, they were campaigning. Not to mention there's the whole sticking to your guns versus valiantly defending the lifeblood of your moral foundation-tomfuckery. Internet discussion and debate only goes so far where civility is concerned. This isn't an excuse to what I do, its an illustration to the inherent weakness in talking about anything over the internet. Words here are as easily preserved as they are ignored and getting so riled up that you produce novella-length responses doesn't bode well for whatever it is you're doing. Dig?

Is this just an arena for debate or should the f44s encourage equally the compaigning of (serious) ideas from its members. If one of the goals of this site is to spark AA activism, then wouldn't you expect those members with the ideas to try to market/campaign for their ideas here? Please don't take this as my support for the two individuals Makulita referenced as examples as I don't agree with their compaign slogans either. |
