So... anyone else addicted to shopping on the internet? Since we don't have an official "deals" thread here on the F44, I thought it might be nice to start one. ;)

***

For the audiophiles / music lovers out there:

*SENNHEISER HD headphones + FREE Sandisk Sansa 1GB Clip MP3 player + FREE SHIPPING

click here to check out the deal (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106328&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL093008&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL093008-_-HeadphonesAccessories-_-L0B-_-26106328)

Even though I already have a couple of competently good sets of cans (AKA headphones) I'm using at the moment, I've always appreciated Sennheiser's quality. The free MP3 player makes a nice "workout / exercise player", and the free shipping is nice too.

Oh, and of course NewEgg is a great online retailer of tech-y stuff... very reliable and trustworthy.

well i know it's not the same headphones, but i have a sennheiser HD 515. Good quality sound and solidly built but not really worth it in my opinion. I expected better sound quality for the price it's a little weak with the bass. I gotta have more bass! No volume control on it so you have to rely on whatever software you got, i'm not sure if it's me but it's kinda loud for my tastes. I have all the volume settings real low just to get the ideal volume for myself. Anyway it does the job fine enough for music and stuff anyway.

...just in case anyone was thinking of buying that particular model.

PS. not the most comfortable headset either!

I usually check out Fatwallet and Slickdeals for my online shopping needs... Unfortunately they tend to convince me to spend more by buying more good deals.

Oh, there's an Fleabay/Micro$oft rebate program that'll get a % off a buy it now. Highest I've seen is 35% rebate.
