Was it SMART of them to use it? No, but that's probably why they removed it. I have no idea what the article was about but unless something is found that indicates for certain that it was meant to be racist, I wouldn't get my panties in a bunch over it.

What's that mean? Ugh, I hope I've not fueled some racist idiot's justification of their calling people names--though I doubt that people are going to accept the excuse that "Hey, I was just calling you a crack in the wall!"

Don't worry about it--if he took it that way, he'll know he misinterpreted when he calls some giant Chinese dude a chink and ends up with a broken nose.
