1. Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country - Captain Hikaru Sulu (George Takei) has a powerful position as a Captain of his own ship (Excelsior) and orders his crew (white, black) with appropriate vigour and confidence.

2. Endgame - At the beginning, you see an Asian security guard alongside a black one.

3. Collateral - Asians have their own nightclub, with Asian girls grinding against Asian guys, with the guys looking stylish. The club also has Asian security guards.

4. The Fifth Element - You see a strong, square jawed Asian military officer at one point in the film.

5. Romeo Must Die - An Asian gang standing up to a Black gang in a club and beat them in a fight (yes, with Martial Arts, but who cares?).

6. Sunshine - Th Asian guy acts and swears just like a normal American with no apparent stereotyping or references to his ethnicity.

7. The Bad News Bears Go to Japan - Tony Curtis (white) gets his ass kicked by a Japanese wrestler.

Who can forget the classics, with my main man James Shigeta?

The Crimson Kimono: One of the very few times that an Asian male was cast as a leading man. He even wins the love interest - over the white co-lead! Yes, she is white, and it would have ideally been an AF, but that's beside the goddamn point.

A Bridge to the Sun: An autobiographical movie about the life of an American girl caught in a World War between America and Japan. Shigeta plays her love/husband, and he is quite literally portrayed just as Cary Grant would have been portrayed in those Silver Age Hollywood flicks - baritone voice, suave, charming, dashing. Again no AF - but this is from the 60s.

It's sad that a lot of AJD's movies involve bit roles.

I find Harold and Kumar to be stereotypical to some degree.

I find Harold and Kumar to be stereotypical to some degree.

Harold and Kumar is very obviously satire, though.

Although, I will say that there are a lot of dumb people who will believe ANYTHING they see on a screen. I used to work at a movie theatre, and I ran into all kinds of people who were convinced that The Matrix is real and that The DaVinci Code is based on fact. x_o It wouldn't surprise me if there are a lot of people who can't recognize satire for what it is.
