Posting a comment on features

I'm having problems posting a comment on one of the features article ("Rice chaser with a badge"). My comment did not show up even though I submitted it more than once.

Can anyone post a comment on a featured article, or do you have to reach a certain seniority level to do so?

As far as I know, anyone can! We don't actively moderate Feature comments, so it might be a system thing. I'll look into it, but I don't know a lot of the technical end of stuff; you might wanna give Lopan a PM.

Actually, we do actively moderate comments. All first time comments are moderated. Afterwards, comments from that poster are automatically approved unless they include links in their comments. If you're having troubl with comments not showing, it's likely that it's in queue; we've never had any problems (yet!) with comments being lost, or comments disappearing for some reason.
