It has been 1 year and 8 months since my last cigarette. Sometimes, the idea of it really makes me want one. The craving doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. so far I've been good about it and stayed off of it.
But when I actually smell one, I get sick to my stomach. When I smell another person smoking, I can't help but feel a little queasy. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so used to life without one now that my body just has a hard time adjusting to cigarette smoke again or maybe if it's some kind of psychological issue that makes me both want a smoke but at the same time find it extremely repulsive.
anyway, do you smoke?

Don't smoke what so ever.."
Nor does my hubby.
As a matter of fact none of my family members do.
But, my bestfriend, her hubby and her little sister does.

yeah i've quit before and you're right, during that time, the smell of cigarettes was hard to stomach. before the girlfriend and i quit, we actually used to smoke right inside the apartment, and we have carpet. after we quit, we started noticing how bad our apartment smelled and it was a bitch getting the smell out of the carpet.

I used to smoke, I've had one smoke since February.
For me it was more of a psychological addiction rather than a physical one, over the years I had just gotten used to lighting up every time I got stressed out over something. Also, every time I drank. I've never liked secondhand smoke, not even when it came from me.
The only real differences I notice now are the lack of coughing fits and how much more I notice the smell of smoke.
