Out of curiousity, I came across an updated version of a brief history of everything, and man it really looks like it was made for the people of today; so many pictures, but anyways I noticed they updated the colors for the levels of consciousness. Should we do the same?

Haha, I'm aware of the new system; Wilber's made up his own because he feels SD doesn't properly reflect a fully integral viewpoint, so he's using his own colors, based on the rainbow sequence:
Infra-red (previously beige, purple)
Red (prev. red)
Amber (pre. blue)
Orange (prev. orange)
Green (prev. green)
Turquoise (prev. yellow, I think, in any case, beginning of 2nd Tier)
Indigo (prev. "coral," I think, but that may not have been an SD designation)
Ultra-violet (3rd Tier)
I think using the SD colors are fine, particularly since the rainbow thing is so fruity, as is the term "altitude," and "amber" is so awkward. But if you want to switch, it's cool, as long as we all know what we're talking about!
In any case, the colors are a bit of a marketing short-hand; using descriptive phrases like "mythic" and "rational" works much better, but obviously we'll be using it all fairly interchangeably.

yeah, I noticed Wilber using those colors in his Integral Naked interviews. It always throws me off a bit so I tend to stick with Don Beck's usage of colors. I believe he first implemented the color system in South Africa, as a way to not only make SD theory more digestible, but to reframe the dialogues away from the polarizing traps of black/white race politics.
Ultra-violet (3rd Tier)
Lol @ 3rd tier. I always joke with a buddy of mine that all those 3rd tier gurus are really just overzealous Integralites with 2nd tier shadow disorder.
