We've recently launched a revised ranking system with the aim of more easily delineating and acknowledging the varied levels of contributions by our members.

We currently have three rankings that are based on post count. The longer you stay and the more posts you make, the likelier it is that you will be automatically promoted. These ranks are:

Junior Member
Intermediate Member
Senior Member

Hopefully with this system you'll be able to more easily evaluate the weight of a user's opinion.

Blackbelts
In addition, there are a select group of individuals whom we've personally acknowledged as "senior", but also who've made contributions to the 44s site, the 44s cause, and have shown considerable dedication on our behalf. These people have been ranked as "44s Blackbelts". "Blackbelts" represent the 44s mandate here on our site, as well as abroad; their opinions and worldviews are in line with our own. When they speak, they speak with the voice of the 44s.

Senseis
The administrators of this site have been designated as Senseis. Just as in a dojo, the sensei is the leader; we hope to inspire and lead by example.

NOTE: please do not ask to be promoted to ANY level. As is the case with any organization, recognition comes with individual time and effort. Each of you will have your opportunity to shine.

I was wondering how I could contribute more to this site and our movement.

There are tons of things you can do! At the bare minimum, help us promote the site. DIGG our front page blog articles if you like them. Give us a favourite on Technorati. If you write your own blog, link back to us, and link back to our articles, if they are relevant.

If you're interested in activism, Jaehwan will be rolling out some initiatives in the near future. Stay tuned for those.

In addition, keep on participating on our forum. The more you write, the easier it is for us to evaluate your position and assess your growth. <-- but this is not important. One's aim on our site shouldn't be to "grow their rank". It's to grow themselves. The rank is simply a by-product of that growth.

the rank isn't all that important. What is to me and I feel for everyone else is for the 44s to grown larger and become a larger voice in the AA movement.
