On the surface it seems what you are saying but underneath the poor writing and the 'gossip site that makes money' lies quite a few more problems in Filipino culture that are being unearthed. Whether or not I believe his story is immaterial but what is interesting is the number of Filipino's that have been wronged by these individuals that now have the courage to come forward and express their thoughts.

Insightful or intelligent?? No, you are definitely correct. However when does corruption, drug use/selling, covering up crimes and the such ever really considered intelligent or insightful. It is just opening up the windows into alot of people's lives that have abused their power for a long time.

In addition, the legal implications of this site will definitely be felt in the Philippines and considering the amount of traffic this site is getting will also be felt in other parts of the world. Where is the line when slandering someones name?

yeah, agreed. just curious what some ppl on this board would think about it from a different perspective. it is a big thing over here and among quite a few of the expat filipino community across the world, that is all i will say. the guy will probably become rich off the whole deal. i guess the other thing is that the way he presents his side in some of his posts may not be the best writing but ppl read them. Also it is hard to relate unless you grew up in this culture, which i haven't.
