Chinese workers at a company in Israel have been forced to agree not to have sex with or marry Israelis as a condition of getting a job.
According to a contact they are required to sign, male workers may not have any contact with Israeli women - including prostitutes

To be perfectly frank it's because Israelis are and always have been extremely racist. No one is willing to face that fact or see behind the multibillion dollar smokescreens they put up.

I think there's some complexity because being Jewish obviously encompasses not only the religious aspects of being a Jew, but also an ethnic aspect and national aspect. There's been a long history of discrimination against Russian Jews and Black Jews (mainly Ethiopian Jews... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Jews#Beta_Israel) by Jews of Western European descent.

There's a bizarre irony to it all when you think about it, because the original Jewish people / Hebrews were a Semitic people, who probably looked more Middle Eastern / Arab than white (such as embodied by Mizarahi Jews).

A nitpick regarding that New Zealand article, the Russian politician was
against marriage with any foreigner. Not pretty but not surprising,
considering what ex-Soviet states went through after the break-up.
Of course what he's proposing is still just treating his countrywomen as
commodities, but the West has been very reluctant to accept any blame
in the economic collapse of the post-Soviet Union.

Pretty much every country in the world is like this - cheap labor is treated like shit everywhere. They won't kick you out unless some politician needs to save his own career from a public lynch mob, but they'll do their damndest to make you want to leave.

And there's no reason for them to do things differently because there are always tons of people fighting for the chance to work for peanuts under shitty conditions.

Hell, migrant workers in mainland China get the same kind of treatment from their own fellow countrymen. It's not so much a race thing as it is a class thing, even though race often becomes tied to class in some way.
