Ok, i know there are hard recognition for Asians making it for the Weekly Top 30 countdown or even scoring a good position (or any) on the weekly album chart sales but has any asians thought about breaking into the Dance music industry?

IMO, although the Edm hardly receives any recognition from "everyday" people, there are still clubbers and ravers.

Has anyone thought about asians doing their stuff in the edm industry? There are so many out there. I know there is a super famous japanese dj who is doing VERY well atm and constantly scored himself in the "world's top djs".

Anyways, the dude made an international name for himself and pumped out chart topping hits one after another

There are some out there as well and they made brillant tracks and were released on major record labels.

Thoughts?

Edit: I'll try and find his name :P His surname got my head in a muddle XD

Are you talking about Yoji Biomehanika? Yeah he's a hard trance producer. I like some of his stuff. Here in LA, we got this Asian dude named Paulina Taylor who spins happy hardcore. He seemed big back in tha dayz but I don't hear of him much now. There are lots of others around the world, but none that come to my mind on the big-name level.
