It's not too much the inter-racial disparity although it does play some role but the racial sexual stereotypes that Asian people have that white people box us in that gives us problems.

If you can't understand how the racial sexual stereotypes hurts Asian people and how white people (mostly white men) use that to hurt us you have much to learn. Inter-racial disparity is nothing but the by product of the racial sexual stereotypes and lack of identity within the Asian community . It goes deeper but I don't think you would get it.

You know what's funny? I live in a society where everybody does this on instinct, intrinsically. It throws a certain light on the role of IR relationships in bridging cultural divides: it's a myth.

Yes. His actual words were more than moronic but he in his own Special, Special way seems to be trying to point out some good. Many asian men here want white women. Yes I KNOW. The discussion is about the disparity in dating. To me it seems to be more about the disparity in dating WHITE PEOPLE because I don’t see too many other races mentioned in a positive light. But that’s my observation and I’m welcome to it.
He’s pointing out asian men with white women and he thinks that’s supposed to cheer people up. To me he has a point. (even if it’s just physically on top of his head). There’s lots of posts and opinions about getting and wanting and cheering on asian men with white women. I don’t think he was totally out of line. Look at the title of a lot of posts and you’ll see my point. Even the Kenya sex tourism thread seemed to brought up because it involved white women
