Religion is just racism without the pseudoscience

In my opinion, religion is nothing more than a lazy way for a group of people to proclaim their superiority over everybody else on Earth. When the Arabs created Islam, guess who were the most favoured people on Earth? Arabs! When the Jews created Judaism, who were the Chosen People? Jews! And when Europeans transplanted Christianity from the Middle East into the heart of the Roman Empire, who were to be the saints, popes, etc.? Italians! And why's the reincarnation of Buddha always Tibetan?

The self-centered stupidity of it all boggles and angers me. To accept a religion like Christianity, you also have to accept the "fact" that God mostly associated himself with Europeans. I don't know of any Filipinos who had God personally tap their shoulder to divinely inspire them, despite those people's zeal for Catholicism. Religion is just spiritual imperialism, period. It's time to get rid of it.

Maybe if you explained a little bit more of your thinking, you might sound a bit more rational. What are you basing your opinions on? Do you consider yourself then non-religious or atheistic?

Your grasp of the religions you cite is not that awe inspiring. There are factual errors with almost every statement you made. Nor do you seem to have very worldly knowledge of religions outside of the big three "European/Middle eastern" religions. Your combative tone also does not make it seem that engaging in a discussion would be worth while.

Really, what is your point with this aside from raving against religion?

Jesus was a Jew yet was used to justify the persecution of Jews for almost a millenium.

Now Jesus' Judaism is used to justify the US sending billions in aide to Israel. Much of this is powered by Evangelical groups.

It can go either way.

actually, i thought the reason we sent so much to israel was because the jews complained after WWII that they'd never be free from persecution until they had their own land. so, the UN and America and such gave them israel.....
