I think the issue I have is there are some white-washed self hating AFs out there spreading Asian men stereotypes even when these females probably have zero experience with Asian men outside their own family members. Because these women look Asian, white and other non-Asian people automatically think these women are the "experts" on Asian related issues. This has happened time and time again in the media. I don't want to rehash the history, but I am sure some posters can make a list of these incidents. It would certainly be nice to see other AFs who are supporting AMs speak out more loudly on these issues vs. staying silent.

At end of the day, we do need to support AFs who are behind AMs in battling stereotypes in this country. However, we need to fix all the issues within our own community first before making an united front to the general population.

From what I've seen, very very few and the ones that are tend to be activists. I believe all Asian men, whether they're activists or not, acknowledge the asexual stereotype but complain about it to a varying degree. One thing is for sure though, every Asian guy will eventually have their sexuality questioned at one point in their lives.

As for Asian women, I doubt many of them know about it. If anything, the thing they question the most is why random creepy white guys hit on them.
