I`m was on holiday this week and I was up at Slave Lake(1.5 hours North of Edmonton) pickeral fishing with a few mates from work when we met a young German couple on holiday. During the day they behaved themselves, but at night the woman came over to our camp pissed out of her mind. She asked a mate of mine for a cigarette and then starting Paki this and Paki that. Her bf came over and I could tell he was embarrassed, but he did get her out of there.

Normally I would have tore anyone`s head off who said that to my face, but I didn`t do anything. She was very good looking too with a fine arse. Still, I regret not doing anything. Maybe I should have just beaten up her German bf.

You should have stepped up and called her out and explained that you're an over-sensitive baby.

Not that she would have given a damn. After all, 'Paki' is not an offensive word in Germany.

BTW, Pakistani immigrants in Australia sometimes refer to themselves as 'Pakis' so I really don't know why you are getting your knickers all in a twist.

Continuing from that other thread in which you're fighting with (and getting owned by) kimtae, I'd like to repeat my request--could you please just leave this forum?

Everyone is tired of your stupid stories about how you beat up, or want to beat up, everyone you don't like, and I'm sick of your physical threats. I don't believe you're half as tough as you say you are, I think your stories are bullshit, and I think you're here to get attention, not to participate in meaningful dialogue.

As for the German woman, you should've bowed politely, gone up to your room, fantasized about this woman who obviously would never date you, and jerked off.

Actually, I think you should do that right now.

I'll assume that DUMBartist conforms to the Paki stereotype by slavishly following cricket.

Well, in Australian cricket terms, the English are the the "Poms"; the NZers are the "Kiwis"; the Aussies are, of course, the "Aussies"; the West Indies are the "Windies" and the Pakistanis are, naturally, the "Pakis".

Bloody crybaby. pah

I hate to be the one to point this out to you but the German woman was attempting to be friendly when she started going all "paki" this and "paki" that... and I also have to tell you that you're being a very intolerant and culturally insensitive Paki by complaining about such a trifling misunderstanding.

German-speakers have a cultural tendency to truncate proper nouns into diminutive forms (or affectionate nicknames) by shortening the full name and tacking on the "i" ending.

Eg, Germans from the former East Germany are known as "Ossis" and those from the West are known as "Wessis". Likewise, Americans are known as "Amis". It's not a very big leap for a German to shorten Pakistani to "Paki" without meaning to hurt your li'l ol' feelings.

All very innocuous when you don't get all hung up on it, isn't it? LOL

I didn`t realize you were such an expert on Germany? I`ve been to Germany several times and that wasn`t my experience. Her bf seemed to know it was offensive. Maybe I have been here to long, normally I`d slaughter a racist little twit and now I`m just like the majority of the intolerant little wankers here and whinging in cyberspace.

The point is that no one gives a damn about your stupid hang-ups so you must be a real glutton for punishment looking for sympathy in a place where you will only find scorn.

This is a situation that you've created with your past behaviour so you have no one to blame but yourself.
