I'm looking for a temporary room in Northern California. Anyone know where online I can find Asian people who are renting out room?

Well you can try Asianavenue.com or any Asian forum on Tribe.net or Myspace or maybe even Facebook. Also couchsurfers.com (or something like that) might have an Asian circle. Why does it have to be Asian anyway?

I am definitely going to San Fran. My free flight is booked for arrival on the July 24th. I will be staying there for 2 weeks. I am in desperate need of a temporary room to sleep in, that is not too expensive. Usually Asian folks have cheaper rent for other Asians, especially the older generation.

Since I was laid-off, I am taking advantage of my time and going places.

Anyone know of any places...Anyone in San Francisco Bay area on this site?
