Rashad vs Tito- I'm rootin' for Rashad Evans. I really liked him in the Ultimate Fighter, so I'll be rooting for him again here. Besides, I'm just meh on Tito. He just doesn't really appeal to me in any way- his fighting style or his personality.

I'm hoping Silva wins this one, so he can prove to Franklin once more that Jesus doesn't love his nose.

Rashad was a disappointment for me. His lack of experience was on display throughout the fight and he couldn't smell victory when Tito tired early in the 3rd round. He lacked aggression and was content to play the jab game despite being down on the scorecard. In my opinion, Rashad is not "all that".

The same with Herring; when he caught Minotauro and sent him to the canvas late in the 1st round, he laid back instead of being aggressive to finish off the fight. He used the same approach early in the 2nd; he didn't smell blood and allowed Minotauro to shake off the cobwebs.

Sherk is a bad ass wrestler who surprisingly could take a lot of punishment from strikes to the face. Although Franca was overwhelmed in this fight, if he learns from it and trains accordingly I think he'll be fine in the future.

I suspected that Marquardt would get KO'd by Silva, no surprise there. I did think that Silva made a mistake with his double pump kick that allowed Marquardt to take the fight to the ground. Silva did fine there as Marquardt failed to maximize his advantage.

I had to miss this event due to illness. My friend still has it on his DVR, I hope to catch it soon.

Rashad/Ortiz was boring. I was with a bunch of guys, and rather than yelling, "Tito!" or "Rashad!", everyone just kept yelling, "Do something!" By the middle of the second round, no one cared who won. I think Rashad was fighting not to lose, rather than fighting to win.

Sherk/Franca was a good fight.

Herring screwed up big time by not rushing in on Nogueira. He could've won so easily.

Silva was awesome. That guy is precise.
