Actually I am an Asiophile, and have been happily married to an authentic Asian woman for over 7 years now. I never was interested in "white girls," but I had a taste for Asian women for reasons other than what the cavemen of "no marriage" suggested. I love Asian food cooking abilities, slightly darker skin, alluring eyes, modest personalities, and high levels of creativity in women, and Asian women (particularly from Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan) fit that bill perfectly. And of course there are my kids; god they are beautiful (in the non-pedophile sense).

Most of my male coworkers are also married to authentic Asian women, though probably for the reasons that "no marriage" suggested.

But the point is there is nothing wrong in finding happiness with the woman of your dreams. I found my happiness, so I find your remark about "Asian fetish" a little insulting (but I will admit I do have an Asian fetish).

All I could say is the site is very extreme in it's view point. Kind of reminds me of Winston Wu site of how American women suck and go east to find a girl friend.

If your a bias observer you could say that American women are less feminine compared to women from a different country but that's just looking at it from a very tinted view point.

on a related note to my puke, I cringe whenever I am being driven around a city in Asia, and the host would point to the expat bar scene and said, "oh, you would love this area. This is where all the young and hip people go, people like you..." and all I will see are annoying expats acting like....gweilos.

And there is a general lack self introspection in this lady and her contributor's writing. Often times, it's "them stupid men" (although accurate description of gweil-men in Asia), "them Chinese 'cum-dumpsters'", "poor me I have to endure this." But I haven't read anything that shows them leaving their cushy ex-pat circles. Have they thought that perhaps they are having a terrible time because they are hanging out with stupid people? There are several occations where they tagged their men as L.B.H., and one even mentions that she is "totally out our his league back home." Yeah, it's slim picking in China when it comes to normal gweilos, but the women's writings do reek of self entitlement, as if they are a gift from God, untouchable by local men but unappreciated by their worthy peers.

I always find it funny how some of these so-called expats think they are so great when you go to a poor country and they get attention from certain women. That "I am from America" tag sure is doing well for some of them. The funny thing is some of these assholes actually think they are entitle to certain things or somehow they are "studs".

During my own travels to different countries, there will always be certain segment of the population that believe the quickest way to get rich is by marrying a foreigner, especially if the foreigner is from America. I am been offered by some of these women myself quite a few times. However, I always knew it is not always me they are interested in but rather where I am from etc. It is not exactly something to brag about when you are from a rich country and some poor village girl is offering herself to you because she wants to go to America to live a better life.

What really pisses me off about some of these expats are that some of them are there to simply there to exploit local women while learning nothing about the local culture, language, custom or anything. Perhaps one day some of the locals would wise up and see these people for what they are and throw the same shit back to their faces.

I think it's a woman. Her attitudes fall in line with a part of a thesis I'm working on...ChinaDirt probably wants to live in China and actually be with a white guy, but enjoy the benefits of being in another country.
