Just wanted to point out a very well-written article from The Economist that I just posted on the frontpage:

They have some very enlightening commentary, and they touch on some racial issues as well, like the "collapse" of the black American family.

Left a comment... it's an issue I'm well-acquainted with, I've heard tons of arguments on both sides. Personally, I'm a married anti-marriage radical :) .

I'm a pro-marriage conservative...hahaha

Actually, the article touches on almost all of the reasons that I believe 100% in marriage. Personally, I think marriage is a statement not only to your partner but to the world that you have committed yourself to a lifetime with them.
