As a cab driver I could go down that road very easily, but I've avoided those situations. Well, most of them.

Just wanted to point out that sexual addiction is like any other, so I'd classify the booty callers as "something else". I have a friend who is a true recovering sex addict who has to keep it in check. Just like with alcoholism addicts can spot each other, relapse and spiral out of control. They don't really need booty calls.

reason why I brought this up is because there is a fellow at work who has revolving door of 3-4 girls who he just calls up any time he wants a booty call. His relationship is just base upon sex.

I asked him if he wanted something more deeper but said he prefers it this way because there is no stress or anything. I asked him if the girls his with are Ok with this. He said yeah.
The girls are also OK with the fact that he sleeps with other girls.

So I'm like either A) he must have some special talent to get away with this. or B) his with girls that are just loose.

ellencho In the past I tried the cool hand luke approach to get getting girls. I find that didn't work for me and instead became more aggressive.

I talk to as much girls as I can . I don't bring up the nature or race until we become more comfortable with each other .

It's like religion or politcs or whatever belief you have. Eventually if the relationship does progress you have to check each other. You could also say this is about money or family or even sex but your right.

I think in a booty call relationship it's just too superficial and the relationship revolves only on sex and nothing else.

I don't think it's fair to call the girls 'loose'. People often don't have the time to devote to a deep relationship with someone. As long as they're aware of the conditions of the relationship and are happy with it that sounds honest to me.

yeah had that kind of thing going on a few times. its not because of sex addiction or anything. its just happens when both people realize that theyre at a transitional point in life and nothing that they try to establish is going to last anyways. and why bother going through all the dumb emotional stuff when we've already had that before and it wasnt that fun. so it just becomes "NSA" with almost zero emotional investment. its cool if you can hang out with her while not having sex. its lame if she just shows up at your house real late, drunk and tastes like cigarettes and doesnt want to see you for any other reason.
sometimes both people are just too busy for the rest of the relationship.

Depends on what perspective you're coming from. It's kind of judgemental to call someone a sex-addict just because they're getting their needs met.
