Good article. I already know some of it since I read Dr. Takaki's book "Strangers from a different shore". Asian American experience has been very different during the early days. Early Chinese settlers endured the worst cause they were the early ones. They did paved the road for other Asian groups. I like how all of them stuck with each other and supported each other. The support from China during the difficult years was very powerful. Basically, if you mess with us you mess with a nation of 1 Billion.
I think it will take spending power of oversea Chinese to eventually change Hollywood's treatment of Asian men. Hopefully, people in Asia will figure how bias Hollywood is and vote with their wallets.

By the way there was an episode of History Detectives about the poetry on those walls, but I didn't write them down or anything so it's cool to see some of them posted online.
