Post your experiences. Kind of a split from the makeup thread w/o the split...helps ellen?

I am currently undergoing Q4 laser hair removal on my face (sideburns/upperlip) So far so good.

I have heard about this new plasma technique that is good for fine lines, wrinkles, loose skin, and ACNE scars and large pores. Anyone heard or tried it?

Angi, what is it called exactly? I can ask around.

A quick gander tells me it's similar to cold laser (in that they both heat up th depper layers of skin to stimulate collagen/elastin). Hm, I'll ask around and see what people think.

I had a mole removed leaving a depressed scar, so I was given a couple of rounds of laser treatment, which plumps up the skin making the scar less obvious. My dermatologist also used the laser on a few acne scars. I was very pleased with the results.

Having the laser treatment didn't hurt, but it feels slightly strange. Afterwards you're left with dark red marks approximately the size of the scar, and they fade in about a week. I have health insurance so it cost me around 15 pounds (30 dollars US?) each round of treatment.

No, this was in Taiwan.

I'm not sure about England.
