a lot of people are getting screwed on their speeds offered for dsl and fios, especially the price difference and speed difference with people in fios areas and people that dont have it. Even my friend at school only has 1.5mb internet, and pays the same as me which I have 3mb all b/c he is further away from the station. And I think fios is only 5 dollars more for the double speed

the actually recording was 20+ minutes. He went though 5 people, including 1 manager and still no one at Verizon got it.

the real problem isnt even with the people on the phone. its the company.
even if the people on the phone understood what he was saying and knew that he was right, they would not be allowed to admit that. it would be admitting that Verizon (their employer) was falsely advertising low prices.
so they have to keep arguing with him until he quits.
its the policy of Verizon and other companies to never admit fault in anything, no matter how obvious it is. when i tried to get dsl at my house they delayed me for about 3 months because theyre seriously understaffed. they kept saying there was something wrong with the phone lines in my house or that something wrong with my computer. i did this type of work before so i know they hadnt switched it on yet. finally they did switch it on and i got an automated phone call notifying me of it.

Donkey-this is just a clip of the recording. The actual recording would have allowed the guy the legal ability to pay only 72 cents instead of 72 dollars simply because it was quoted on his bill before he started using it and 5 customer reps said the same thing.

last week my DSL internet was turned off cuz i didnt pay for a while. so i called up VERIZON to pay. they said to me "OK we will turn it back on."
later it wasnt turned on so i checked my phone lines to make sure everything is OK. all the lines were intact. i called them to have someone come look at the outside lines to make sure it was OK. but i had to go to work so i missed their appointment. i think the repairman got irritated by this cuz i did not allow him to enter so they couldnt charge me anything. when i came home from work the phone line at the side of my house was cut! fuckin shit man!!!! i fixed it myself.
fuckin verizon guys will cut your phone lines if you dont let them inside. fuck these assholes. i dunno if this is criminal or not, maybe not since verizon owns the outside phone lines?
another chapter in my long war with verizon, the only ISP in my town.
