Check this out. In Japan, the intro for the 1992 Xmen series was redone (probably because the American intro had too much English).

I saw clips of these a few years ago. For a while people hoped the Japanese would just put out their own series. It's so superior to the American version it almost makes the American one seem like a parody.

Yah, the japanese versions are far superior but also much more violent, which isn't something the FDA would go for in an American cartoon especially aimed at kids.

Prolonged usage of X-Men in both its original form and subsequent variations has been proven effective in treating a disorder of acute ennui in two separate control groups consisting of males age 9-14 and 25-32. The malady has undergone various changes in designation over a period of more than 20 years however is most commonly known as Gayness by the sufferers in Group 1. The males in Group 2 contend that this is an inadequate or outdated description and have come to know it instead as Lameness or Teh Suxorz. Irregardless, X-Men has become the treatment of choice for stimulating w00t in males afflicted with Gayness for an increasing number of caregivers. Identical testing on females has yielded little to no change in w00t levels; however the existence of Teh Suxorz in women has thus far been unsubstantiated.
