How happy are you with your nutrition? Do you eat too much fatty food or too much salty food? What are the strengths and weaknesses of your diet in terms of nutrition (not weight please).

I think my diet is pretty good. I cook a lot. I've cut out butter in cooking and use peanut oil or olive oil instead. My greatest weaknesses are skipping breakfast, not buying enough fruit and eating fatty meat like country style ribs and chicken thighs.

Since I've been living on my own, my Tang intake has suffered seriously. I don't get nearly as many hostess products as I used to and I probaly have cut my bologna intake by about 99%. Ialso haven't had bacon for dinner either.
I sometimes wonder how I survived my childhood without developing clogged arteries and diabetes. My mother was trying to kill us all slowly but she failed, hah!

I dont eat enough fruits b/c I dont like them that much, but I have gotten better the last 5 years. Eating a papaya grown form the backyard right now. I just dont like food that is too sweet.

But I generally eat healthy, its just I usually have a small breakfast, small lunch and a larger dinner. THree meals a day with not much snacks inbetween, usually it would be salad or leftovers if I do eat inbetween, not much chips, etc

i could and should eat healthier.
i hate vegetables. the smell honestly makes me want to throw up.

when i visit the kiddies and eat with them, i'll eat the veggies.
if i'm with the coworkers and there's something with veggies in it, i'll try to eat a little...sometimes.

i don't eat too many fried foods outside of chicken nuggets, because fried foods upset my stomach.

i don't eat too many fruits, but i can eat apples, oranges and bananas.

i eat a lot of breads and noodles...
i've been eating more beef lately, but that also upsets my stomach so i've been avoiding it.

drinks are mostly tea and OJ.

got my vitamin supplements...!

I'm pretty happy with my eating right now, other then the dorm food.
Its hard to eat in the dorms. If I eat there its usually fries and salad. I'm a vegetarian, so dorm food isn't the most veggie friendly place in town. So if I cook myself/ heats up what my mom gives me, I tend to eat a little better.
BUT if i'm at home i eat lots of junk too.

My daily diet includes plain yogurt, bananas, and milk. Then a meal or two at the cafeteria (boca burger, garden burger, if breakfast: eggs and tater tots). I drink lots of water. Honestly, I can't wait until this summer where I can cook myself and not be forced to buy a meal plan.

The really bad thing about my diet...I drink too much coffee for my own good.

hey, did your poo also turn orange? i think mine did when we drank tang. i don't blame my mom, i mean, wasn't tang the official drink of astronauts? my mom probably thought we'd grow up to be spacewalkers...poor, poor deluded mom.

currently, i live off mcdonald's, starbucks chai lattes, doritos, mojitos and cheap red wine. once in a while, i'll eat a vegetable or an apple.

surprisingly, i'm actually getting leaner and more muscular. dunno what's going on. i think i'm mutating.

Hey, no discussions about poo with me. You and Ellen can take that up if you like. Besides, we got off the Tang by the time I was 8. That's when mom started to give me Flintstones vitamins. Must have been feeling guilty for all the other non-nutritional crap she fed us. To this day I have a burning curiosity to visit a baloney factory just to see what it could possibly be made from. God knows I fried enough of it as a child.

I don't exactly watch what I eat and sometimes eat junk at work. I also go long periods without eating breakfast and I really need to change that and for good. But when I'm home I'm always cooking. One thing I've realized is that sodium is a grossly overlooked evil in fast-food. It's all iodized salt too, which I think contributed to my thyroid malfunction. Maybe too late, but I'm switching to sea-salt nonetheless. I buy a lot more organic than ever. A while back I bought regular bananas because they were out of organic and I swear it was like eating hunks of foam-rubber. Never again.

Hi friends I belong to a poor family and struggling all over my life. So having highly nutrition food is still a dream for me. I live with my family and take ordinary food like others, at morning a cup of tea with some light snacks. and in the lunch and diner I take dread{roti} and vegetables. and that's all my daily nutrition food.:(
