Questions for the weekend:

1) What is a name to describe your politics and why is it adequate or inadequate?
2) Which political parties do you often vote for or support? (or in the absence of parties, in the ranks of which strongman do you wield your machete, I guess)
3) Which political parties do you dislike the most?

Answers:
1) I'm a generic leftist, quasi-socialist and Marx-sympathizer. Mostly pragmatic, but given the chance, I'd sign up to be genetically engineered to live on the surface of Mars.
2) Democrat. Occasionally Green.
3) Republicans, Libertarians.

1) I used to be a socialist during my college days, but that didn't last long. Now, I don't know what I'd call myself. I guess I just figure that no matter who is running things, the vast majority of the people get screwed.

2) KMT and CCP.

3) I was going to say all Nazis, but Republicans annoy me more than Nazis do.

1) Independent. I don't subscribe to what are conventionally referred to as "political ideologies" because people tend to take a stance on a given issue just for the sake of consistency and none of the major parties really appeal to me. I would describe myself as very socially liberal or progressive and moderately fiscally conservative and a non-interventionalist.

2) Libertarians, Repulicans (back up party in case no libertarian candidate on the ballot even though I hate them).
3) Let's see, the hate list is looooooooooong. Here we go:

neo-cons
paleo-cons
the religious right (I despise this group with a passion)
Bleeding heart liberals
social conservatives
drug war hawks
gun control advocates
pro-Israel lobby
There are others but those are the only ones I can think of now.
