What's your favorite method of communication? Choose as many as you want.

I haven't decided yet, but I just want to state, I cannot STAND Myspace pages. If I ever follow a link and go there, it seems like I'm always one click away from green text on a red background with flashing animated skulls and a horrible pic of someone sticking their butt at the camera.

I hate myspace mostly b/c of the layouts and the hard to read backgrounds people put, not to mention using browsers like firefox even IE, I get memory problems b/c of the myspace page eating up all my resources.

Facebook...its better than myspace b/c its a structured layout and it works nicely. THe myspace page I rarely use is very basic and easy to read. I do have a friend who uses facebook like its their phone and or IM for some reason...

But I mostly use forums and messaging programs, usually with any specific members I talk to, I'll keep contact on aim, etc also.

I use just forums and blogs. I hate barebones threaded forums, I can never get used to them and have never used one.

I hate myspace because of the people on myspace. Tila Tequila, anyone?

I like blog posts, blog comments, forums like this one (obviously) and sometimes chat rooms. The forms of communication I like have these qualities:

1) high signal to noise ratio. I'm not a fan of "attaboy" or "me too" posts, unless it seems like they're providing meaningful support.
2) few or no trolls.
3) not too similar to modes I use at work

When I get an email or receive an IM, it flips me into work mode -- "gotta answer now, now now now" -- so I like to use them only for important/private communications.
