Since we're kind of starting over with the site, let's start putting in all the useless, brainless fluff that any internet message board needs in order to thrive. Let's start with cool pics. I'll go first.
Some of you have probably seen this one before:

As I understand it, the dude who owns this house in China refuses to sell his property, and apparently no one can do anything about it.

Hey Lopes, sorry I didn't explain.
The stair that you see in the picture is a product of a contractor building literally from the visual information on a construction documents. The Dotted circle are detail callouts, and the diagonal line leading to the circle with the numbers tells the contractor "for a blowup of this detail, go to drawing #xyz on sheet #abc." But the contractor interpreted the line as, "the architect wants to do a stair that has a landing with a diagonal cut."

I found it shrinkwrapped on a popsicle stick in the dried snack food section of a Japanese convenience store.
Actually I have no idea :) it's on a webpage for a museum of imaginary creatures. Here are some more of them: http://sow.ggnet.co.jp/room.htm?no=2

She's also involved in a local project to memorialize the Native peoples of the Pacific Northwest region:
