The Indian Council of Medical Research says Indian penises are too short for standard condoms. Condom failure rates in India range up to 20 percent; to figure out why, the council has "just concluded an extensive two-year study of the penis sizes of Indian men." Council researcher: "As per international standards, most condoms are 150 mm to 180 mm in length and 44 to 56 mm in width. But data collected in Mumbai till 2001 showed that 60% of the participants measured 126 to 156 mm in length and 30% between 100 and 125 mm." Translation: Thirty percent of Indian men are 1 inch short, and another 30 percent are 2 inches short. Proposed solutions: 1) shorter condoms. 2) Spray-on condoms. Skeptical reactions: 1) The failure rate is lower in clinical trials, and many complaints are about tearing, not slippage, so the main problem is proper use, not size. 2) "Will there be takers for the smaller-sized condoms?" Well, aren't the majority of Indians caucasian? So...

There's this facinating TV series in Britain nowadays called 'The Girl's Guide to 21st Century Sex'. It's a pretty legitimate series about sex in modern-day Britain, I guess. One episode featured three English blokes who were unsatisfied with their penis size and was willing to participate in the TV-programme by trying out various penis-enlargement devices, for the benefit of the viewers. There were three guys - two had 5.5 inch wangs, and one was 6.5 inches.


Three guys certainly don't constitute an adequate sampling, but they seemed to be somewhat 'more' than your typical pale, slightly overweight, 5'8"-5'10" English guy. They were all about 6 feet, and in good shape. My guess is that the majority of white guys who look tall and buffed up are just packing a regular six-shooter, like most Asian and even black guys. It's the EXCEPTIONS THAT GIVE BIRTH TO THE MYTH, so to speak - it's simply FUN or titillating to create mass-hysteria and intrigue over penises that are larger (extra points if you RACIALIZE it! wa-hey! :P), and also more 'fun' to mock those that fall under he curve. *sarcasm* I'm talking about your lowest-common-denominator here, not me personally.
