This dialogue really struck me, because I have been facing a similar issue and pressures within myself as "John" was, and yes, at heart, there is a great deal of "shadow narcissism" involved.

Now that I've had a chance to catch up a bit on I-I's "Multiplex," I HIGHLY recommend exposing yourself to as much of it as possible. There's a massive amount of information out there for free, and even more once you become a member, including access to Integral Naked, Integral Spiritual Center, and the Integral forums.
