This is an old Ojibwe saying that was recently spotlighted on The Sopranos, and the more I think about it, the more I like it and see the depth in it.
It is very applicable to most of the North American population, including the 44s. I'm not going to say much more on it, but I encourage you to think about this phrase and its implications. We go about in pity for ourselves, and forget about the vast openness in which we abide, and which abides as us.
