In addition to cool 70's drink glasses and those pyrex glass bowls with the polka dots, I got these claypots from my mom. They're a little different from the regular ones, much bigger and this weird tube in the middle. I think it's for even heat distribution, but it is throwing me for a loop.

http://www.tagines.com/pd_le.cfm - the center is kinda similar, eh?
the center reminds me of tagines. I think any slow-cooking recipe like stews and stuff would be awesome in that pot.
I own a lot of claypot cookware (romertopf, schlemmertopf) and they're awesome. Look up claypot and clay pot in amazon and you an find lots of recipes that cater to clay pot cookware.

Sorry about the crappy pic, the center is kind of similar to that pic of the tagine, but more gradual and narrow, kind of like the tube in a bundt cake pan. I'm pretty excited (and hungry) thinking about recipes. The tube thingee is kind of weird though.
