I listen to Rammstein. They have a really great stage show. It is really hard to beat a flamethrower going 20' off the stage over the crowd, simulated homosexual doggy style sex with a rubber hose and more!

I love Ramsstein, but it's hard to see them live in the US. They've been banned from a lot of venues :(

I like Rammstein, especially their song "Amerika". I've never actually got to see a concert of theirs, however. Just wondering, do you like KMFDM as well? I do. I pretty much like all alternative rock, especially metal and punk. Glad someone else has heard of them.

I love KMFDM. I also love Skinny Puppy, Genitorturers, Nitzer Ebb, etc. GWAR rocks! I was a huge fan of the whole genre for a long time.
Rammstein likes lots of pyrotechnics, but they're not popular enough to play venues large enough to accomodate their pyrotechnic frenzy in the US, sadly enough. Their affinity for giant genitals and simulated sodomy that spurt liquor and other liquids also don't endear them to most communities here, and they refuse to perform without them. Their show was banned in San Fran for health violation codes I believe- they were dragging around slaughterhouse carcasses and flinging about animal blood (bought from a local slaughterhouse as well).

damn good taste in music. Nitzer Ebb... join in the chant, fuck yeah! skinny puppy, kmfdm(mdfmk), frontline assembly, front 242, project pitchfork , wumpscut, suicide commandos... classic industrial at its best!

I miss the good old days...
I was at the recent NIN concert a few months ago and I realized that Pretty Hate Machine came out like a decade and a half ago. EEEEK! Half the audience there were toddlers when that came out. OTOH, you go to the less mainstream concerts and you don't feel your age 'cause most people are about the same age as you...

Yeah, I saw Skinny Puppy a few months ago at 4th&B, there were quite a few overweight and balding folks, the goth/industrial scene these days(at least in san diego) is in such a sad and fading state. I must say though that Skinny Puppy still looks very energetic.

This thread takes me back. Front Line Assembly and Skinny Puppy are from Vancouver and Front 242 used to be on Vancouver based Nettwerk records. FLA, KMFDM, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult & NIN were favorites but I swore off the genre after I got beat down at a NIN concert way back when. My white friends didn't help me. True story.

I heard RAMMSTEIN's song "Rosenrot" and i'm sorry, but TOOL's latest and previous efforts smokes them by far.
I even find DAMONE's "Out Here All Night" to have more energy. It's punky with heavy-metal rapid-fire persussion. Plus, their lead singer has a cute voice so it's a great contrast in styles in one group.
RAMMSTEIN's German accent is cool and makes for an evil sounding/vampire-like atmosphere, but there are not my cup of tea at all. If anything, they sound depressing.
*shrugs*
but don't let me stop you guys from appreciating them. :|
