How to File a Complaint with FCC over Robertson's Call for Assassination

According to today's telephone conversation (888) 225-5322 with the FCC, this threat needs to be reported in writing to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with the following details of when, where and offense and sent into the FCC's Broadcast Complaint Office via Fax, Email and/or U.S. Mail.

Pat Robertson calls for Assassination of Foreign Leader

When: Monday, August 22, 2005 at 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM EST

Where: Christian Broadcast Network "The 700 Club" broadcast nationally

Offense: Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson suggested on American national television that American agents assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a Head of State of a Foreign Country. The quote taken from the national broadcast of "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network on Monday night, August 22, 2005. Robertson is quoted as saying "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability" and he went on to say "We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator" and he then continued with "It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."
