Very very basically, a bolognese sauce is a meat and tomato sauce that has been simmered for a really long time. The ingredients are all easy to find and put together. Other than that, all you'll need is a big pot or pan, and some patience. This is the perfect recipe for people who don't know how to cook but want to impress their gf/bfs because it's basically fool proof.
This is what you'll need (btw, I made a double recipe but I will just post the ingredients you need for a single recipe).
2 Tb of olive oil
2 Tb of butter
2 Tb of minced carrot
2 Tb of minced celery
2 Tb of minced onion
3/4 lb of meatloaf mix
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup of white zinfandel
28 ounces of any type of tomatoes you like diced, crushed, whole, just make sure that they've been broken down into small pieces, and make sure to keep all the liquid
salt and pepper

Now the first thing you'll want to do is heat up the oil and butter in your pan on medium heat. Then add the carrots, celery and onion and saute for ~6 minutes until softened, but not browned.

Go ahead and crumble your meat into the pan and let that cook through until it's no longer pink.

Now add your milk, and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until it nearly evaporates and you can see the oil separating from your mixture - don't forget to give it a stir every now and then. The milk will probably look like it curdled. Don't worry about that.

Add the wine and let it simmer till it evaporates too.

Now add the tomato sauce and let it simmer very slowly on low for 1.5-2 hours. Season with salt and pepper. Huzzah you've got sauce!

I served mine with homemade cheese tortellini.
