Hi all at Fighting 44s :) I found this forum through curiousity. After reading through a few threads, I decided that this site is mature and it fits my tastes. :P A small bio of me:

Age: 20+
Gender: male
Ethnicity: Chinese
Location: Ontario, Canada
Career: Student majoring in Business Economics

My interests include asian(Korean/Chinese/Japanese) movies, shows and music. Competing with friends in gambling/games and reading about asian issues. My general concerns include making other asians that are NOT aware (self hate) of themselves to accept and love themselves. To do this though, I need to learn how to present how discrimination, the negative images and emasculation of asians from the media are affecting asians socially and politically. My siblings turned out well so Im happy whereas most of my friends dont really care about asian issues which is a shame.. they'd rather ignore and pretend it doesnt exist. Anyway, I believe if you can get through to your family first, then friends later, we can help better ourselves one person at a time :p

I'm glad we're mature enough for you cuz I consider myself pretty damn immature for my age  Also happy to have a non-American Asian here. Always been curious what Asians are like in Canada, Europe, Australia, etc.

Osiyo, ni hao and welcome!

Thats an interesting point you made about making our family and friends aware first. I'm going to start a thread on this.

ALL of y'all are from Toronto?

Well, between us we've spent significant time in NY, Cali, HK, and various other parts of the US and the world. But TO knows how to KICK IT.
