View Full Version : Introduce Someone Else!

Self introductions are boring. Besides, everyone tries to to put their best side forward when they introduce themselves, which means that they are practically lying about who they are. So rather than listen to others try to put themselves on a pedestal, why don't we have the 44's introduce all of the other 44's to the new comers. This way, newbies be able get a quick run-down of exactly who is who on the 44's.

One rule of this thread, you are not allowed to speak about yourself. If you feel that you are misrepresented on this thread, someone else will have to defend you. You are not allowed to talk about yourself.

One more rule: You can't introduce someone who has introduced you. If you didn't like what they said about you, then it is possible that you'll introduce them in a negative way and things'll get outta control. This can lead to a crazy, narcissitic cycle, which I would like to avoid on this thread.

I'll go first:

Maogirl: World traveller. Ethnically Chinese but raised in the Philippines. Politically left of center, but never says anything too controversial. Likes to flirt with certain 44 males. Currently living in Europe and undergoing therapy for her kleptomanic tendencies.

Let's keep the introductions coming! (Let's try to keep the introductions to one introduction / per poster for now...)

Good idea; I'm going to sticky this up and see how it goes. I suppose it would only be fitting for the originator of this thread to be introduced, himself. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you:

seoulbrotherno1: The militant Corean hapa dynamo with a chip on his shoulder, whitey in his sites, and a sense of humor, to boot. He's just the kind of slanty-eyed, rabble-rousing radical that Uncle Sam loves to hate - which is fine, by him; the feeling is mutual. Don't be fooled when he refers to himself in the third person - he knows exactly who he's talking about.

He's known around these parts for his "It's Okay to Hate White People" thread, his hatred of white people, his encouragement and support for hatred of white people, and his disdain for white-worshipping in all its forms. Did I mention that he hates white people?

That light-yellow-colored menace whom we lovingly call "sb1" is dedicated to the betterment of the Corean peoples and Asia's control over its own destiny, free from the interference of imperialist cracker scumbags. His presence on these boards embiggens us all.

xian: Preaches tolerance so much that some of us want to strangle him. But at least this man practices what he preaches.

He has a soft-spot for educating the, um... let's call them "misinformed."

But be careful, underneath his touchy-feely, huggy-wuggy exterior is a mildly-to-very angry hapa. So if you keep getting on his nerves by refusing to learn and grow, then beware of the Wrath of Xian!

oh, seoulbrother, be careful with my heart, i don't want it broken by yet another korean guy.

i'm not going to correct what you wrote about me, but, ahem, check out my location now (at least, before i move to thailand).

<-------------------- !!!! :D :D :D

as for introducing another member, i'd like to introduce ellencho, a korean-american hypochondriac who every girl would give her left ovary and every guy would give his left testicle to marry based on her wit and cooking skills alone. underneath that soft baking mitt lies a hand that is toughened by various crafts and scientific experimentation.

she is yet another living example that crafts leads to drugs leads to bad makeup/fashion choices leads to eventual (and relative) normalcy.

i think if ellen and i ever lived together, we would drive each other mad with our germ phobias and obsessive compulsiveness, but we would both have great-smelling hair.

I introduce...Kalbi!

Kalbi is an angry Korean male with the penchance for inciting outrage, especially from female f44 members. While he is known to spout common sense at times, it is always hidden in an outrageous, offensive shell. From his ramblings, he seems to enjoy working out and eating healthy in order to attract to young drama princesses that need some hair-raising drama in their lives to feel alive. Some members on this board is convinced that he is actually a delusional chihuahua and a long lost cousing of Ren that has learned to type and use the internet!

Cattygurl

Former makeup artist- turned translator/Ebay entrepeneur is number 2 behind Dialectic in most number of posts. Now, cattygurl's posts are not diarrhea-like or lacking in substance. They are thoughtful, insightful and to many of the males on this forum, inciteful, with a strong liberal (with L) viewpoint.

She has a menagerie of critters who share a home with her, reflecting her nuturing, sympathetic side. But nothing pisses her off quicker than injustices, stupid racists, sexists remarks and republican presidents. Woe to those who invoke the paddle.

awong is a college student in Florida where he is active in asian groups on campus. He knows a lot about cars (especially VW sciroccos), likes to watch movies from asia, and is a compulsive gambler. Yep awong likes to play the ponies. He doesn't usually win, but whenever he's not in school, or visiting AA empowerment forums - you'll find him at the tracks, with his usual crowd, Saul, Gene, and Bert. Ok that last part was a lie. He doesn't bet on ponies, he bets on jai-alai games.

AngryEthiopian: One cool-ass chica out in the depths of Oakland's ghettos. She works as a software tester (last I remember - ahahaha don't kill me if this is wrong Ayori), sews her own clothes, and is one of the most intelligent people I know. She hates authority, and would be the type to promptly throw a book at any teacher whom she would believe to have done her wrong.

(meh can't think of anything else to write - YAY POSTING @ 2:30 A.M PST)

Jade Dragon:
She commands that million year old wisdom so that you wouldn't know that she's quite the young one. She DJs and plays all that litmus test stuff that is too hip for the hipsters and too intelligent for the intellectuals.

A hardcore feminist, she's perfectly capable and willing to trash poser feminists and misogynists in the same breath. In fact, as a true 24/7 activist, she manages to be on the frontlines fighting for social justice in nearly every imaginable struggle while most folks are still trying to trade their own minor gender/racial/sexual orientation privileges for crumbs from the master's table.

When Liz and I complete our personals book of "Women who are way too good for your sexist, lonely, single ass", she'll be one of the starring subjects!

Here is one, its RIC haha
he is passionate on how he feels on AA issues, but at the same time he is willing to castrate those who do not agree with him and continue to offer a condescending attitude towards those who he feels are wrong, probably willing to divide AA's even more with how he speaks. He claims his way works, but from how it is on the forums, he seems to create more ennmies and hate. He feels his own opinions are emotionaless and everyone else is arguing based on emotion when he is doing the same thing. Tip to new members, don't ever get in a debate with him, the best thing to do is to waste his time since he hates it. He doesn't listen to anyone but himself and doesn't think he is ever wrong. And if he ever asks others to post pics like of yourself don't unless he will, then he will shutup about it. He also happens to think to know how women are and how they dress, in many ways he reminds me of a Kojo from Enterainment tonight.

Put it this way, watching RIC FLAIR wrestle the 60 year old man wrestle is much more enjoyable than reading his posts at times.

Please be creative if you are gonna slam someone. For example, instead of saying that "so and so's ignorance drives everyone off the forums," you can say "so and so's posts help people to appreciate their lives outside of the forum."

Also is you are gonna say something negative about a person, please make an effort to say something positive as well.

And I also like the fact that he's a toothless homo - it hurts less as I face-fuck him. 8)
