Well, it seemed like it was something. His stance from what I could tell was a fairly low albeit bad cat stance, and the movemnt of his legs although awkward were done with the balls of his feet. So yeah I'm sure it's real in the sense that he probably watched enough movies to mimic the movements.

At first to me, it looked like a badly matched boxing fight, but then it becomes a weird wrestling match with a lot of butt shots. Thanks for the upload with Sudo / Butterbean. I never got to see that fight. Butterbean looked like a turtle on his back. He might be the king of the Heavyweight four-rounders, but MMA is clearly not his thing.

Gomi is a BMF, but I think that Kawajiri is head and shoulders above him. Look for those two to have a showdown during the finals of the lightweight grand prix (coming later this year!)

Sato used to be a favorite of mine, but he got old quick. However, he dropped Ishikawa twice during the Pacific Rim title fight (and Ishikawa is known for his striking), so I guess that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

My dream is to fight Gomi. If Pride actually starts bringing on real Corean talent (instead of the no-names that have been invited), maybe we can see it happen.
