Has anyone ever had this problem? I specified the dimensions of my jpegs using photoshop, and when the print shop printed out my images they were HUGE! Some of them took up nearly the entire 8.5x11 inch piece of paper they were printed on when I had specified that they be 3x4 inch images.
This is one of my images that printed out way too large. When I check to see the dimensionss of the image it says 3x4 inches, what am I doing wrong?

I usually don't print from photoshop, I usually end up using microsoft word to inport the jpeg and adjust the size and use print preview.

Did you check printpreview if PS has it? Not at home so I can't check right now

So I spoke to the boyfriend and he figures that the print shop people here printed out my pics using Quark and that program doesn't always obey the measurements that are specified. Which I think is pretty lame. What's the point of a program completely ignoring your specifications and making their own?

Quark is kinda lame, but it was the only game in town for a long while. We're starting to switch to Adobe instead.
