I was linked to this site from one of my fav MMers, sinsoldier. I have posted here 2-3 times.

I'm jesslyn on that site, but here I'm lynjess. Short for Jessica Lyn.

I'm an afro-american. From the Windy City, reppin the South Side. I live with my brother in a little apartment.

I'm 22, gonna be 23 next month. Graduating from UIC-Chicago this August with a degree in Mathematics and Economics. After that, either teach or go to graduate school. I spent last semester in Mexico studying abroad for four months.

I see some fellow members I seen here at MM. Big hellos angi, awong, fjinvasion, ellencho, inferno, apollyon, biz, ric, and especially sinsoldier. :)

I'm pretty sure we still have that big debate you got into with Kuroyama and Anna D (the other afro-a's on this site) months and months back, and they still check in from time to time too!

Yeah, South Side!

I've been transplanted to the evil North Side but am teaching at Lakeview, which, if you ask me, has kind of a South Side vibe.

It's going to suck to be so close to Wrigley, though...
