Hey fellas! New to 44s!!

It's very nice that I have the fortune of venturing into this nice place, which is full of passionate, self-assured and most importantly, intelligent folks of all kinds.

Well, to begin my introduction, I figure that my identity as first gen chinese american subjects me to the same cause of all the brothers and sisters here. So far I have really nill to contribute to the forum, at least in an actually constructive sense, as I am becoming gradually aware of the AA issues myself. Up to this point my ideas and reflections of self-identity and the grander issues enveloping the AA communities have been limited to my own efforts; not until too long that I realised the strong internet community in which I can share and communicate with.

Ok, enough of my overly formal talk of motivations and interest, I hope that I can soonly become one of the 44s, and part of the fight. 8)


PS: I am curently taking ASA class in UCD with Prof. Hamomato, hopefully I can share some of the funny anecdotes with you guys regarding this enigmatic figure whom many fear and love :wink:

Welcome! I myself am getting settled in voicing myself here as well. Thats cool how you are taking classes with Hamamoto, I'm glad you're taking AAS classes, I think everyone should be able take them, unfortunately I gave up that priveledge when I left SDSU to a tech school, but all my friends who took it seemed enriched by it..
