I figure since ZhaoGao will never ever post anything substantial here, I'd give you guys a look into this demented genius. We have exchanged many an email over the years, and whenever I feel like it, I'll put one up.
The brief passage to follow is from 2002; he was still in school, and living with mostly AMs (never a stable situation). Chris, John, and Albert are all AMs, and Enam is their Arabic buddy (all names have, and always will be, changed). Chris had found a house to live in for the new semester, but there was only enough room for four, and they were too pussy to tell Enam he was screwed.
The entire Enam and Chris thing has been cleared up from a utilitarian stand point. After being pressured by Chris and John that 'someone else' should contact Enam, I did. I asked Enam if he had a place to stay for next semester, and he answered that he will be living in on-campus residence. Of course, I forwarded the message to Chris, John, and Albert. Only Albert had the decency to reply that he's glad that Enam is not screwed.
Let's face it, our generation of banana boys are awfully amoral and irresponsible. I feel like I'm Eminem: I embrace a culture that will never fully accept me because of my skin colour, but I am completely alienated from the social group that shares a similar background. We should write a book how Chinese-Americans are mostly jerks and immigration should be stopped. I title it "ZHAOGAO VERSUS THE CHINAMAN 101 and other short stories involving Dialectic."
