Any of you 44s part of the CampusNetwork that pervades all these schools from Princeton to Binghampton to Brown? I've started a Fighting 44s in the "cultures" group, come and check it out. Y'know for a million or so fuckin' geniuses who are supposed to be leading the world of the future, that network is pretty fuckin braindead. Talk about institutionalized.

The Ivy League has the most white-washed Asians AND some of the most socially-active Asians.

It's pretty amazing really. I mean, you can meet one white-washed AM who doesn't give a crap about race and just wants to "fit in", and then you can meet another AM who's all "Azn power"! I mean, you'll find these 2 differences anywhere, but it seems to be more extreme in the Ivy League. It's all schizophrenia down there.

I think that you'll see that everywhere. My friend goes to this high school called Bronx Science and it's the same way. There are Asians (including Hapas as well) who are actually the Asian version of racists and neonazis! And then there are whitewashed Asians who diss their own all the time.
I go to Lewis. It's more normal here.

BTW, a little off-topic, but I found some racist (and somewhat funny) names for universities with large Asian populations:

MIT = Made in Taiwan
UCLA = University of Caucasians Living among Asians
UC-I (Irvine) = Univ. of Chinese Immigrants.

Anyone know any more?

UCLA?!?!?! But Cali is Asian territory! That's horrible :(.
My family might be moving to Cali soon and I just do NOT want to see the same type of AF/WM shit that I see when I'm floating around in Manhattan.

LA still has more AF/WM than AM/WF, but overall the numbers of AM/AF drown out everything else. Quite unlike NYC where probably a full THIRD of AFs are with WMs, eh? :wink: At least, it seems that way.
