Welcome to the forum where we discuss our own lives, dreams, goals, and activities with the objective of becoming healthier, more insightful, more powerful, more passionate, more caring, and more successful people.
This forum is highly experimental, and I'm not certain how much participation it will attract, nor the direction it will take, nor how long it will last.
Whereas in "Life of a 44" and the general "Hundred Flowers" forums, we discuss experiences which may or may not be ours, and experiences and feelings which may not be relevant to growth or healthy change, here, we will specifically talk about ways to change our own lives. We will support one another, offer opinions, perspective, and innovative ideas, all with the utmost intelligence, insight, compassion, and expertise we can muster.
This will also involve honesty and introspective analysis. I realize this is an anonymous online forum, so whoever wishes to participate should only participate to the level where s/he is comfortable. Having said this, meaningful discussion about creating a significant change in someone's life must necessarily discuss the person's development along many important lines. We must offer up honest analyses of where we are in the physical, cognitive, emotional, interpersonal/ social, moral, financial, political, psychosexual, and spiritual realms. This list is by no means exhaustive, and if any of you like, I can elaborate on developmental lines later.
From here, we can see where possible unhealthy imbalances occur and offer up solutions to correct them. Even if no imbalances are there, we can still create "maps" of ourselves to understand better what to do to get where we wish to be. We will examine personals points of view, cultural considerations, systems instabilities and solutions, even biochemical/ nutritional aspects of existence where appropriate.
This is the forum where we try our best to be accountable to one another and support each other in our endeavours.
