It's summertime and I'm at home without a chore in the house at 4:20 in the morning ramming away at the ketboard with that crazed, sweaty, molester look in my eye. I go on elsewhere as GroundZeroBoy although it's not simply because I live in Manhattan, NY and I'm hardly a flag-waving, gun-toting, 9-11 aftermath veteran surfer of the neoconservative wave. I am but a simple Chinese man...A humble descendant of the Hans...looking for a peaceful, fruitful, meaningful life only to be tossed into the bedlam of the anglocentric, ultra-consumerist, media-airburst, spiritually post-apocalyptic Americana clusterfuck that was my high school years. But I'd rather light a fuse then curse the darkness, for blessed is the fire that burns in the belly of the dissident. A cultural pilgrimage to the People's homeland enriched the charge, and I've brought it back to this city of my birth to hurl between the round eyes of mighty Goliath. Call me what you need to, banana, fob-abee, twinkie in denial, extemist, racist or just plain asshole. Should you be a pink, orientalist, pigfucker in power, I'm going to plant our golden seed in your daughter and put agent orange in your food. I can't help but get ahead of myself: This is a call to arms. All my golden sisters and brothers, misrepresented, misinterpreted, miseducated and bound, rise up and cast the cauls from your eyes. Our feet aren't wet, and we speak better English then most of these orientalist oppressors. Forget the asian copout inheritors of social stratification; fuck taking this place from the top-down, it's time to take it from the bottom-up. Death to the Orientalists.

Whassup again, damn, just noticed "cast the cauls from your eyes." That, too, is classic. Glad to have you aboard.

I like this post. Do you think it's good enough to qualify as a feature?

Ha ha, they gotta be a bit longer and show more thought and consideration.

Though skill greatly varies from writer to writer (and we encourage everyone who's inclined to write to submit), we're really trying to avoid a journalish/ xanga/ off-the-cuff feel to the front page pieces (though I admit that's what some of the Features end up having).

This one, though, this one has potential. We will watch this "Anarchrist."

Thank you, celestial one for blessing me with your mighty glance. I see I must walk the palace path, hold the horse-hair brush close to my temple, and strike upon the rice paper deep, unspeakable polemics, about those lost fallen angels otherwise collectively known as "them cracker-chasin' bitches et al..." Actually, did anyone ever get to write that "ode" in response to MissMel? Cause I got a whole list of historical Asian heroine that I'm just dyin' to compile in honor of that great female intellect, and her ever-so-wonderful taste in men.

We got a bunch of "Odes to Asian Women" under "A Thousand Words." No Feature yet, though.

Incidentally, brothers and sisters, if we are thinking of having a get together (see Sleeper Cells for meetings in NYC), the time to galvanize the population is now. I work deeply with Councilman Gerson of District 1 Manhattan of the City Council, who oversees Chinatown and Wall street. If we can organize enough of us (that means simply getting 5 or 6 of us that are serious), I can get us in the door over there. Additional, Councilman Charles Barron, D-Brooklyn (a renowned socialist and Black Panther) has been constituting a special group of students/activists in the tri-borough area for the purpose of the upcoming mayoral election, called the Dynamic 7 group. Being a the member of the group, I think it's imperative that I get the 44's in there as he'll no doubt receive our importance as an advocacy organization (so long as we put our money where our mouths are). Speaking of Black Panthers, a militant branch has recently reconstituted near Spanish Harlem these last two years, and I've got a few friends who are involved. They're a bit violent though. Nevertheless, the need for common focus should deter any of our fears.
