There are more of us out there than even I thought possible. I don't just mean Asians, or North American Asians, or Asian Males, or whatever other factions there are.

I'm talking about intelligent witty folks who actually give a fuck.

We're smart, we're disciplined, we work hard, we have a bit of money, and we know how to navigate Asian, White, and sometimes Black cultural spaces.

No one else can boast that but US. And that makes us powerful. Remember that.

A lot of the 44s grew up in cracker barrels and hick towns. As kids, we never had anyone who understood our shit, who could sympathize and even explain what we were going through: not parents, not friends, and certainly not dumbass teachers who couldn't do anything else so instead assumed responsibility for my cognitive and moral development. It's a fucking miracle none of us has Columbined yet.

We want to reach out to THOSE KIDS. The folks in New York, L.A., San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, they at least have some supportive social circles. They can bitch to friends who know whassup. Most of the 44s live in one of those cities now. But we want this shit to get out to those poor bastards living in Arkansas, in buttfuck Texas, in Tennessee, Wyoming, northern Ontario, Manitoba, places where little white punks stretch their eyes at you, sing ass-grabbing songs, and beat the shit out of you when they're drunk, we want to reach out to the boys and girls there.

The Fighting44s are watching. You are not alone anymore.

Hi all, I'm from Norcalifornia and it would seem like growing up in this area would be a pretty liberal area for asians. But growing up I was often the but of ridicule of a few white students. The majority of them were ok but the harassment was a constant. As for girls not many showed to much interest in an Asian guy. Even the Asian girls in this area turned their backs on us asian guys. It's good to see that this site is providing support for other Asian males. When I was growing up we Asian males tended not to talk about our problems with one another and our parents and white friends and teachers could not and would not relate to us. Again I'm just happy to have found this site. I'm a grown man and still fight with my identity at times. By no means am I a helpless wimp. I could have lashed out with a lot of damage but I never did. I internalized my anger which was not a good thing. Maybe our problems cannot be solved here but at least we can relate to one anothers frustrations and desires. Thanks.

Mike

I orginally am from Texas.

A true fob though. And the experience I must say was as shitty as it could get. However, I later moved to So Cal, and it got somewhat better from there. To say the least, as much whitewashed as I am. I do appreciate my roots.
