That thread was over a year ago, but even then, I think most of it was a pretty even exchange. Anyway, if you listen to the last FOC podcast, I think APB was trying to get a rise out of people. No harm, no foul, for anyone.

What, you believe something works yet have no confidence in its practicality? Make up your mind.

Well, think of it this way. I think it would be great if I had five million bucks to spend on activism. Seriously, I think I could translate that money into some really big social movement and make it work. But the plan isn’t practical because I don’t have five million, unless some kind and generous soul on the 44s sends it my way.

I was thinking about this today. I still believe that the literature approach would cure a lot of societal ills, including damage from the Esther Ku style attacks, but at the same time, it may not be practical and it may often be too difficult to get things done at that literature level.

What, you believe something works yet have no confidence in its practicality? Make up your mind.

Actually, it’s funny because we were trying to do some kind of advertising for Thymos, and we were looking for stock photos or stock art to put on flyers. Do you know how hard it is to get photos/representations of Asian people???

Man, I have so many ideas. If only I had the artistic talent…I’d be a millionaire many times over, and my bank account would surpass that Korean dude who left medicine to become a blogger…

“Better Asian Man”, huh? Definitely an interesting idea, though when I went to the website, the first thing I saw was this:
