If they asked that for purely economic reasons (not socio-religious)…and it was a temporary thing (not major life change)…and it only applied to restaurants in tourist areas, not what you can buy in your supermarket and/or hometown…then I’d be equally as non-chalant.

As much money that’s being spent by the government to ‘prepare’ China for the games…this should be viewed as an economic move IMO. I’m almost always for chasing out Europeans.
