When I saw the T-shirt I just shook my head, almost going into a shrug. Then I had to think to myself, Have I dealt with this shit for so long that I don't let it faze me. That's a frightening thought. I think this country really needs to deal with it race and class issues and I mean quick. Waiting for racism to die out is the cowards way out. We need to talk to those that want to change or are willing to listen and we need to call a spade a spade when confronted with ignorance. It's time out for skipping around the discussion of race and class. And when I say discuss race, I do mean beyond the black/white dynamic. We all need to keep it real and deal with the prejudice in all our hearts. It's time for Americans to start acting like adults and deal with it issues instead of an extra large high school filled to the hilt with cliques. But that's just me.
