Wired has produced a beautiful article and photos on Japan’s first sex show! Truly, it is a land of wonders. 
Piston robot: Plenty of Japanese technological ingenuity was on show at the expo. This Piston Robot made by ALPHA IN Planning is designed for one woman to use by herself, or a couple together. The topmost section with the two dildos moves back and forth in its groove. 
Cunnilingus machine: Baby Entertainment’s booth boasted a selection of outlandish machines that would have Heath Robinson spinning in his grave. This machine, and two others, were on loan from U.S. porn producer Fucking Machines. It works like a slowly rotating chain-saw with gently stroking rubber tongues. The machines weren’t for sale, but they were demonstrated for expo visitors — albeit on empty air. 
The SOMCOM: The man holding the microphone in this photo was enthusiastically plugging the Somcom, a hands-free device for men that moves up and down in time to video input from a PC. The speed alters in time to the amount of movement on the screen, i.e. slowly for early porn scenes and quickly for the final ones. 
Clitoraid is an non-profit organization set up by the Raelian Movement to help women around the world who have suffered genital mutilation. The Raelians promote an “adopt a clitoris” campaign and claim to facilitate surgical clitoris reconstruction. The woman on the right of the photo is wearing a clitoris costume. 
Young Mr. Penis: These cheerful looking phalluses are ornaments for display in the home or office. The little ones are cell-phone straps. They are advertised as handmade. According to the sign they are the “ultimate erotic and cute weapon.” A weapon for what, it doesn’t say. They also have a name, “chin-kun”, which translates something like “young Mr. Penis.”
